Fred Laurent Original 1970's Painting Signed - 'The Lost One - Part 7'

This series of paintings were painted in 1975 by Fred Laurent (1922 - 1995) They were commissioned for a magazine and they are painted onto Frome water colour board using acrylic.

Fred Laurent was made famous in 1960 with his painting named ‘Period Beauty’ . His style and bold use of colours has influences of other trial blazers at that time, like J. H.Lynch.

This painting is a personal favourite of the collection, it captures the twilight evening and air of mystery perfectly. Not to mention the different tones of blues which make this piece feel so unique.

The painting is signed by the artist.
